Modeling & animating our characters

After two days of hard work and grudge with the Mac's for their pre-settings and block'outs. We have been able to finish our characters.
Glaze & Pilus are physically present, they have come to live with painting strokes as fur, and with Torus & Cylinders made by NURBS as EYES.
Ending a Wednesday of hastle and missunderstandings with our knowledgements. We finally able to work on Thursday as a critic day for ending our scenes.
Giving them a rending modes as TIFF and then edit them in After Effects (Adobe). The way to assume our scenes have been rendered correctly we have used.
Fcheck.

We are happy with our work, we also recorded our last real life images on Wednesday to count with advanced work to syncronise ANIMATION and REAL TIME scenes.

Giving shape

After a whole day of learning new tools and configurations to get started with our Animation programs.
At last we start editing and modeling our pet.

Pilus has had quite a annoying day, first we didn't agree how to make his eyes, by targeting and object and then following it. Or even just use to small "Torus" shapes moving side to side.
At the end Mario and I looking at some advice on the network, we arrived to the conclusion to make some eyes with modified speres.

Then the other argument was how to put his fur on. We didn't start by just saying this length, we only tried different map bits with the paint tool. At the end an old man with Grey short hair was fair enough to get started with, using Pilus and Glaze's natural colours ofcourse.
Then once again another argument of how to stick all de paint brush tool or if we need to spring all the hair. In the end that ended up by just putting the necessary spring to have a neat and quick render in the future.

Following by some try-outs in the movements, thats the figiting that was our day.

KickOff

Here we are, my name is Paul Richard, I've just enrolled myself once again in Glyndwr University.
Our new learning application is got to do with animation, not Stop motion or Live Sound but Animation this time in 3D!

Our character is called Pilus, named because its a hairy pet.
Related to a hairlike appendage found on the surface of many bacteria.

Pilus seems like a Bacteria but has grown up, and been brought up as pet.
Find out how it goes, who appears and how he reacts?
